Born and raised in Germany, Markus followed the conventional path of studying hard and securing a corporate job at IBM.

However, the long hours and constant stress began to take their toll. He realized a profound truth: “if you’re not rich, you’re making somebody else rich”.
 

Burnt out and yearning for financial freedom, Markus set his sights on a new goal – to find a way to make money while he sleeps. 

In 2002, he took a leap of faith, leaving his position at IBM to move from Munich to Austin, Texas, with only $30,000 in his pocket and a dream of becoming a multi-millionaire. And it worked!

Through years of dedication, Markus developed his “Lazy Way of Trading” – a systematic approach that allows investors to generate consistent profits with minimal effort. 

This method forms the cornerstone of his trading philosophy and has helped countless individuals achieve financial independence.
Today, Markus is not just a successful active investor but also a devoted father, an adventurer, and a lifelong learner.
